New World Development (NWD) is a leading conglomerate based in Hong Kong focusing on property, infrastructure and services, department stores and hotels. The website brings alive in the digital space the Group’s core concept: The Artisanal Movement, described by Dr. Adrian Cheng as ‘a journey of expanding one’s imagination, not only limited to design and aesthetics, but also amassing a modern living culture through out persistence in delivering bespoke craftsmanship manifested by originality.’ The founder’s handwritten titles are also incorporated onto the page to personalise the journey.

To reflect the founder’s vision of The Artisanal Movement, the website design emulates a journey that is at once purposeful and creative. The website structure is clear and direct, formatted into a section-by-section progression, presented in a free-flow, artistic manner, whereby the content flows into place as the viewer discovers the page.
Each section is marked by a minimalistic road sign marking the section number drawn on the page as visitors arrive. This unique website holds all of NWD’s properties, infrastructure, green and COBO projects, as well as their group news internal and external collaborators archive and their public community.
