WORK SCOPE
Creative Direction, Logo Design, Menu Design, Signage Design
Situated in a Hong Kong heritage hotel, Café Parlour is an all-day dining restaurant. The designs draw inspiration from its history -a Former Marine Police Headquarters looking out to a hill of 200 trees. In paying tribute to its past, the menus are covered with painted trees, each leave drawn in reference to the British paintings of the colonial times. The menus open up to arched pages, with shapes derived from the windows forming the restaurant’s terrace. With the trees extending to the inside covers and each page framed in greens, a beautiful doorway is formed to the by-gone days.
